recognized throughout Iran's artistic circles and even further a field
because the originator's works have been exhibited and sold as far away
as the USA, Canada and Germany.
By 1973
his creative talents found a new outlet. Thousands sat exams for
just 24 coveted posts with the newly-founded collage of Cinema and
Television, under the auspices of Iranian National Television. Naeeni was
one of the chosen few, and worked as a film director until his retirement.
The post was to have important spin-offs in his art.
His studies centered on a select
few elements: the sun, birds, horses,
locks, and even the art of calligraphy as a form rather than the meaning of
the actual words. Studying ancient texts on his country's art and painting
helped in the development of his own colors.
“Amir Saee”, has started engraving since he was 9 and learned his skills from “Lahiji the master”.
When he was 16 he started engraving on his own and not depending on anybody else, stepped forward in his field and took development and progress steps up with his talent, intelligence, and unique efforts very fast.
It is now 45 years that he designs poems, anecdotes and ancient stories as well on metal with an incredible concinnity.
His individual and beautiful artworks in domestic and international museums express “Amir Saee’s” great artistic abilities.
